Sutras: Can simple thread have an impact when worn on body?

Modern science has discovered that the fundamental design of everything in the existence is same. It's just that they differ by their complexity. There are certain forms which can hold energy for a long period of time. In this case an ellipsoid is the best form. A perfect ellipsoid can retain energy for a period of 10,000-15,000 yrs.  

                 This is the reason why Lingams are elliptical in shape.

Different materials can be used to store energy like silk, raw cotton, copper, mercury. Mercury is the best among all but it requires saadhna. Cotton thread is preferred most of the time because it is inexpensive and works pretty much well for a period of time. To enhance it's ability of absorbing consecrated energies turmeric is used.

Still many qualities of turmeric haven't been discovered by modern society. Turmeric makes our skin glow if a certain amount of it is applied along with an amount of ghee. It doesn't only act as a cosmetic but applying it on body also purifies the aura. Immunity not only comes from within the body but also depends on the kind of energy which encircles us. Turmeric makes the aura vibrant and it grants immunity to our body.

And it can also absorb energy so turmeric is rubbed on the thread. After that the sutra is placed near a consecrated substance or idol. This makes the sutra or thread vibrant. That kind of thread will grant immunity and purify the aura of the bearer. In olden days Mangalsutras also used to have such energized threads and married women ought to change the thread after the energy of thread expired. The thread was changed by someone who knew how to energize it. But now Mangalsutras don't have sutras any more. They have gold chains now.

The sutras were energized according to the body part where they must be worn .
